Koo JaRyong(49) is an Assistant Editor, Foreign Desk of The Donga-ilbo(Donga Daily News). He graduated from Seoul National University, a master's degree in International Politics. He joined Donga-ilbo in 1991, having covered various fields including energy, environment, economy etc. Especially he worked in Beijing as a special correspondent from 2008 to 2011. He is recently interested in topics concerning exchanges and cooperations between Korea's and China's regional governments.
