美国普林斯顿大学宗教系哲学博士,复旦大学美国研究中心教授、博士生导师,复旦大学国际关系与公共事务学院宗教与国际关系研究中心主任。兼任国家社科基金学科组评审专家、上海国际问题研究院学术顾问等职,并任上海市政协委员。研究方向包括宗教与国际关系、宗教与中国社会、中国基督教史、美国宗教等。创办并主编学术期刊《美国宗教与社会》、《宗教与当代国际关系论丛》、《基督教学术》。担任国家社科基金重大攻关项目、教育部人文社学科学重大课题攻关项目等20多项国家和省部级研究项目的首席专家。主要著作包括《宗教与当代国际关系》、《教育与宗教:作为传教媒介的圣约翰大学》、《教会大学与神学教育》、《中国基督教教育史论》、《上海圣约翰大学(1879-1952)》(主编)等。
Xu Yihua is a professor at the Center for American Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and director of the Center for the Study of Religion and International Relations at Fudan University’s School of International Relations and Public Affairs; He also serves as a member of China’s National Endowment for Social Sciences Peer-Reviewing Committee, an academic adviser at Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, and also a member of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee. He is the founding editor of Religion and American Society, Christian Scholarship,and Religion and Contemporary International Relations Series. His publication includes Religion and Contemporary International Relations, Education and Religion, St.
John’s University as Evangelizing Agency, Christian Colleges and Theological Education in China, and Essays on the History of Protestant Education in China. He received his master’s in history from Wuhan University and his doctorate in religion from Princeton University
